Sharons Priorities

After Roe was overturned, reproductive freedoms and abortion rights have been under attack across the country and in Arizona. These personal choices should be made between a person and their doctors with no interference from politicians. We must enshrine abortion protection into our state's constitution to ensure that these rights can never be attacked again.

As a former public school teacher, I know that education is the foundation of our future. Public funds should be used to invest in our public schools, not private ones. We must ensure that there is accountability when divesting from public schools in favor of charter or private schools. In Arizona, our teachers are overworked and underpaid, leading to many leaving the profession. Protecting our students, teachers, and support staff is a top priority for my campaign.

When our public schools are funded it sets the future generation up for success and directly impacts our workforce.

Voting is our constitutional right despite Republicans in the state legislature attempting to strip us of it and make it more difficult for Arizonans to cast their votes. I will fight to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to make their voice heard and participate in our democracy.
